Leafy
Some studies find it.

The short answer
Microplastics have been found in some groundwater research, but the evidence is still developing and results vary by place and method.
13:00So not a panic line. More like “we should measure this properly”.
13:03Emerging evidence needs careful language.
Why it matters
Groundwater can be vulnerable where surface pollution can move through soil, cracks or porous rock. Tiny plastic particles are hard to monitor consistently.
13:12The small stuff is awkward. That is its whole career.
13:19The sensible response
Reduce unnecessary plastic, keep waste out of the environment and support better monitoring. Do not make sweeping claims from one local study.
13:26Field Notes rule: serious topic, no fake certainty.
